Choir workshop at the Hotel Tatry

Most of you will probably remember where you were and what you were doing on the last days of this summer’s sunny weather. As for ourselves, we spent them in our annual choir workshop, where we retreated to learn new material for upcoming concerts and relax together.
The Tatras welcomed us with brilliant sun, in which we basked between rehearsals. Walks in the forest, jogging in the morning, lounging in a deck chair with a book, crocheting or playing board games – everyone could choose their preferred way to relax in the beautiful natural surroundings.
In the evenings, we all met at the bonfire, karaoke and the ‘Seal’s Got Talent’ show, where we could proudly showcase our various skills (cosplay, art-ivism, artistic paper cutting, playing the piano and tin whistle, to name a few).
The last days of the workshop brought a change to a sweater weather, which went well with lots of tea with honey and gave the more cold-loving of us a bit of respite from the heat.
That being said, this was still a choir workshop and rehearsals were going on as normal, come rain or shine. Thanks to our hard work and dedication, we managed to learn a lot of new songs that you will have the opportunity to hear this autumn. We can’t wait to perform them for you – see you at concerts!
